Skin disorders in their various presentations are among the most common diseases suffered by mankind and account for approximately 20% of visits to doctor's offices.

Chinese Medicine is very effective in the treatment of various chronic skin diseases and yet despite this fact, many people practicing TCM do not achieve optimal results in this speciality due to lack of training and clinical experience.

This course offers an overview and practical approach to understanding and treating the most prevalent dermatological diseases seen in clinic.

What you will learn in this course:

  • How to specialize in TCM dermatology?
  • Most commonly used techniques to treat skin diseases in Chinese Medicine
  • East vs West: when is TCM superior!
  • Identfication of various skin lesions and their meaning and significance according to TCM
  • Most common disease cause, mechanisms, patterns and their treatment
  • Proper diagnosis and differentiate various skin problems including psoriasis, acne and atopic eczema
  • Detailed discussion of the TCM treatment of atopic eczema
  • Keys to successful treatment in the West
