Wendy Yu, PhD(c), L.Ac.

Wendy Yu, PhD(c), MSOM, L.Ac. is a lecturer, researcher and clinician in the fields of infertility and pediatrics. She received her Bachelor of Science in physiology from Rutgers University and her Masters Degree from Samra University. She is currently a PhD candidate at the American University of Complementary Medicine where she is researching acupuncture's effects on the endometrium.

Wendy co-authored two studies that appeared in Fertility & Sterility observing acupuncture's effects on ovarian response, endometrial lining, implantation rates and pregnancy rates. She also performed the acupuncture for those studies.

In addition, Wendy has co-authored several papers one published in the California Pediatrician and another that was recently accepted for publication in Evidence Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine (ECAM).

Wendy also has special interests in functional medicine, nutrition and environmental medicine particularly from a Chinese Medicine perspective.

Wendy currently practices in Los Angeles at the Eastern Center for Complementary Medicine.
